Gift Ideas Mom Will Really Love

Are you looking for Mother’s Day gifts that are unique, thoughtful, and most importantly—fun? I’ve compiled a list of a few great gift ideas Mom will really love.

1. A homemade spa day package

It’s the perfect gift for any mom. A spa day is something any mom would love, she may not have made time for it as often as she likes. You could always purchase a gift certificate, but why not make it extra special and recreate a spa day experience at home. Here are a few ways you could do that …

  • Buy some bath products and make a homemade spa package. Bath salts, body lotion or oil, candles, and even bath gels are great ideas.
  • Put on some relaxing music and get her favorite drink to enjoy while soaking in the tub.
  • Don’t forget the spa day snacks. Charcuterie boards are easy to make and make a great spa day snack. Here’s a simple recipe https://therecipecritic.com/simple-charcuterie-board/

2. Breakfast in bed

Every mom deserves this – especially on Mother’s Day. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated— coffee, eggs, and toast will make her day.

3. Gift basket with all of her favorite things

A gift basket is a perfect way to say “I love you, Mom!”. You can find a pre-made basket or make your own. You can add her favorite coffee, gift cards to her favorite stores, lotions, body wash, a candle, snacks, and a great book. Pair this with a “spa day” and you’ll have the perfect gift.

4. Lunch or Dinner at her favorite restaurant

Take Mom out for a nice lunch or dinner at her favorite restaurant. This is a great way to spend some quality time with her and let her know how much you appreciate all that she does.

5. A poem or story about all the things you really love about her

Are you good with words? Then write a poem or story that expresses all the things you love about mom. What mom doesn’t love to hear all the sweet things her children have to say about her? This is a great way to show your mom how much you appreciate everything she does for you. Don’t forget to sign and date it. I promise you this is one gift she won’t throw away, but instead treasure forever.

6. Her favorite photos

Photos of loved ones are the ultimate keepsake, and there’s nothing more meaningful than having all your mom’s favorite photos in one place. Put together an album showcasing your mom’s most prized possessions – HER BABIES!

And if you’re lacking in the photo department, I know a great photographer who can help you out with a session for mom (and by the way, I do offer gift certificates too (wink, wink),

7. Clean the house

You may not clean the way your mom cleans, but she’ll appreciate it regardless. Clean the kitchen, the bathrooms, the floors, and after yourself. Don’t forget to take out the trash.

8. Do the laundry

Or at the very least, do your own laundry. And don’t forget – doing the laundry includes folding and putting away.

9. Let mom relax

Really, just let your mom relax. Let her sleep in or just take a nap in the middle of the day. Give her the day off!

10. Let her watch her favorite movie

No sports, no news – unless that’s her jam. Give her the remote and don’t complain about what she chooses. It might be a day of Lifetime movies or a Walking Dead marathon (now that sounds perfect to me).

This Mothers Day, show mom how much you care by getting her a gift that she will truly love and treat her like the queen she is. Giving Mom a gift that she can really use and enjoy is one of the best ways to show your appreciation for all she does. It doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated – just give from your heart. And the best thing that you can give your mom this Mother’s Day is your love!!!
