Most Popular ~ High School Senior Photo Sessions ~ Splendora, Texas Photographer

Remember, you only graduate once and your high school senior session should commemorate and celebrate this huge milestone! As a professional photographer, it is part of my calling to capture this part of life in the best way possible and help you choose the products that will preserve these memories forever – to help you Tell Your Story Forever!

One of the things I hear most often from high school seniors and their parents when it comes to a senior session is this … “I DON’T KNOW WHAT I WANT”! They know they are supposed to have a senior session and they want a senior session, but they are just not sure about the end result. So for this blog post, I’m going to give you the rundown on the top 5 most popular products for a high school senior session.

  1. DIGITAL FILES

Everyone wants digital files these days and for different reasons. One reason is purely just for social media sharing. Another reason is that you might want to choose to do the printing for yourself, your family, and your friends. And I often hear that you just want digital files because you love them all and always want to have access to them. I hear ya – I love my digital files too! So at Sheila Hebert Photography, I have a digital collection that fits all needs. However, one thing that I want to stress is that digital files aren’t always forever (I hope you never have a computer crash or a lost device), but in the unfortunate event that you do – have no fear, I’ve got you covered. With every collection, you receive a print and a digital copy of all the images you choose. I also make sure that you have access to your digital files in a few ways – in addition to the prints, you receive your files on a USB, and they are also uploaded to an online gallery – this makes sharing your images super simple. And last but not least, all digital collections offered at Sheila Hebert Photography also come with a print release so that you can print as many and as small or large as you’d like. By the way, I always recommend having your professional images printed by a professional printer. I always refer my clients to  www.mpix.com – they have the best quality and best value when you decide you’d like to be in charge of printing your own photos

  2. Senior Album & Books

Albums & books are also very popular for high school seniors. The beauty of these albums & books cannot be justified with an image and this is something you definitely must see in person. They will certainly be one of your most prized possessions and one of your favorite books of all time!!! Again, this is something you must see in person to really experience to appreciate the beauty. No two albums/books are exactly alike – the layouts, backgrounds, and cover are all custom created specifically for you. These are the perfect way to tell your senior story!

  3. Graduation Cards & Announcements

Graduation cards are next on the “most popular” list and we are talking about custom, printed cards (not mass-produced and not digital). These might be used for invitations (either to the actual graduation ceremony, a graduation party or to both) or just strictly used as a graduation announcement letting family & friends know you are or have graduated. No matter what the purpose, these cards are also one-of-a-kind and created as unique as you are. The most popular size is a 5×7 front and back, but there are a few options to choose from such as a folded bi-fold card and even a folded trifold card (what I like to call the “cream of the crop” version). And there are several paper choices you can choose to add to the customization of your card. The best part is that people are less likely to throw away your card and pay closer attention … and possibly send you a graduation gift ***wink, wink*** ;).high-school-senior-session-ideas-graduation

  4. Wall-Portraits & Wall-Collections

Next is the wall-portrait or wall-collection choices. What is this you might ask? Well simply put this is a printed picture or group of printed pictures that will be displayed in your home (think of this as your own little gallery collection of your high school senior). Many parents want to add one last picture to their picture wall before their graduating child spreads their wings. Some parents want to commemorate with a small wall collection of their favorites. I’m always happy to give advice and help plan for this. I can show you a custom wall layout for your home that will show how your portraits can complement the room and not overpower it.high-school-senior-session-ideas

  5. Storyboard

Last but not least are storyboards (or a collage print). This is a great way to show off your favorite images that tell your high school senior story with a variety of images. Storyboards can be designed to match any theme and be printed at any size. My favorite size (and the most popular) is a 10×20 print. This is the perfect size for 3 or 4 images printed all as one.
